Instructions
To create a treble crochet stitch (tr) - The following instructions assume you have already created the required length of chain stitch.
For this stitch allow four extra stitches on the chain stitch and on the first row insert hook in the fourth stitch along.
When working on all other rows insert into the second stitch.
Loop the wool around the hook.
Insert into the row below.
Loop the wool around the hook.
Pull just the one loop from the hook, this leaves you three loops.
Wrap the wool around the hook and pull two stitches through the loop.
Wrap the wool around the hook again and pull the last two stitches through the loop to complete the stitch.
Insert the hook into the next stitch and repeat the process until you reach the end of the chain stitch.
Repeat this process along the length of the row or chain stitch.
At the end you will need to crochet three chain stitches in order to turn the crochet and start the next line by inserting the hook into the second stitch.
When you have completed simply loop the wool around the hook, cut the wool around 15cm or 6” long and pull the wool through pulling tight to make a knot.
