How to create French Knots - To create a French knot thread some wool onto your needle and bring the needle up through the middle of the flower.
Wrap the wool around your needle twice.
Push the needle back down through the middle of the flower almost where you came up.
As you pull the thread back down carefully allow the French knot to form.
Continue in this way until you have created as many French knot as you want then simply tie off securely at the back.
