How to use the flower loom - Create a loop in your wool and place the loop on a peg, try to ensure the knot is in the middle of the hole.
Now take the wool over to an opposite peg, placing on the left hand side and wrap around the back of this peg.
Now bring the wool back to the first peg, bringing to the left hand side and warp around the peg.
Your wool will have created a figure of eight.
Now take the wool to the left hand side of the peg next to the second peg, wrap around the back and bring down to the left hand side of peg next to the first.
Continue to work around the loom in this way until all pegs have three loops on them.
Push all the loops down onto the base of each peg.
Cut you wool, thread onto a large needle and take down the middle of the flower and knot off securely.
Take the second colour of wool and repeat the process for the middle section of the loom.
When you have created three loops on each peg cut the wool allowing 40cm/16” of wool.
Thread onto a needle then using a back stitch secure each ‘petal’ by working between each peg.
To finish off knot securely then simply pushing from the back to ease flower off of the loom.
