Instructions
How to finger knit - Tie a slip knot and place over your little finger.
Take the wool behind your ring finger, in front of your middle finger, behind your index finger then around your thumb.
Now take in front of the index, behind middle, in front of ring and behind little.
Next take the wool across the front of your hand.
Slip the loop on the little finger over the wool which is lying across the front of your hand.
Repeat this process with the other three fingers and the thumb.
Try not to make the loops too tight.
Now take the wool across the front of the hand again and this time work from the thumb to the little finger.
Occasionally turn your hand over and pull on the knitting and continue in this way until you have made the length you want.
To cast off cut the wool so it is around 10cm or 4” long.
Then take the loop furthest from the end of the wool over to the next finger then slip the bottom loop over this.
Then repeat until you work across the hand.
On the last loop simply pull the end of the wool through and pull tight.
