This star gives you two for the price of one with a little double layering.
Instructions
Step one - Split the straws then cut in half.
Step two - Take the natural straws and place in the placement ring leaving 4 spaces.
Step three - Work all the way around the ring so there are two straws in each space.
Step four - Now take the blue/navy straws and place in the ring leaving 3 spaces.
Step five - Work all the way around so there are two blue/navy straws in each space. This means you now have four, two natural and two blue/navy.
Step six - Now take the natural straws and place across the ring so you now have one extra straw in each space.
Step seven - Push the middle of the placement ring into place to hold all the straws in position.
Step eight - Wrap each set of straws securely to hold in place using the thread/floss.
Step nine - Now trim each of the pairs of blue/navy straws to create a point, you may need to adjust the positioning of some before you cut.
Step ten - Now trim the natural straws to create points between the blue/navy ones. Again you may need to adjust the position of the straws. Once trimmed remove carefully from the ring.
Tricks of the Trade
Strawcarft - thread/floss IF using a multi-strand thread/floss then draw out one or two threads to work with so the thread is less obvious.
