With a little cutting and a little weaving turn a photo into a woven wonder.
Instructions
step one - Print or photocopy two copies of the same photograph.
step two - Take the first and every 1.5cm (1/2") cut from top to bottom, numbering as you go.
step three - Take the second and cut across the photograph every 1.5cm (1/2") numbering as you go.
step four - Take the right hand strip from the first photograph and the top strip from the second photograph and stick together, corner to corner.
step five - Now take each strip in turn from the first photograph and attach to the horizontal strip, placing alternately underneath and on top.
step six - Now take the second strip from the second photograph and weave in and out of the veritcal strips, making sure they are alternate to the top strip.
step seven - Continue to work in this way, working down the photograph making sure you butt the strip you are working with as close to the previous as you can. When you are happy with the postion of a strip stick in place with a little double sided sticky tape at both ends. When complete mount onto your scrapbook project.
