Here we cover a few bright ideas for using sand to decorate your scrapbooking pages

Letters - Available on sheets these double sided sticky foam letters allow you to decorate your pages with ease, and obviusly put any wording you need.
Magic motifs - These are ideal for not only sand but fine glitter and micro beads. They come in a variety of themes and are simple to use. Cut close around your chosen motif and remove the protective backing paper. Place onto your scrapbooking project rub over with your finger tip, remove top protective cover and sprinkle with sand. To make sure the sand sticks well before shaking off lightly tap your finger tip over the design.
Peel 'n' stick stickers - For these you will also need a double sided sticky sheet. Cut a piece of sheet slightly larger than your sticker. Remove one side of the protective cover and attach your chosen sticker. Sprinkle with sand, using a spoon if you wish to use a couple of shades. Shake off excess then carefully cut out. Using the tip of the craft knife carefully remove the second protective cover and stick onto your scrapbooking project.
Doubel sided sticky tape - Great for creating lines of colour or why not try making the lines overlap. Simply stick down the vertical lines then part peel back the protective cover. Stick the horizontal lines and replace the protective. To make the lines appear as they are overlapping peel one cover off at a time and sprinkle with sand. Shake off excess sand then repeat process.
Funky dots - Using double sided sticky dots will allow you to create funky dots or why not use them as bubbles?
Craft punch - As with the stickers you will need a double sided sticky sheet. Punch out your design, remove one of the backing papers. Attach to your project, remove the second protective cover and sprinkle with sand. Tap the surface with the tip of your finger and shake off excess. If you want to use several different shades peel off one at a time. If you wish to overlap use the same trick as for the double sided sticky tape.
Mosaic - If you want to create a mosaic effect then square double sided sticky foam pads are the ideal answer. If you wish to use one or more shades then simply uncover the ones you require in the first shade, sprinkle the sand, remove excess and repeat for the second shade.
