Instructions
step one - To make the character: Take a small piece of black polymer clay and push into the nose section of the mould.
step two - Take a small piece of red polymer clay and push into the tongue section of the mould. Now fill the rest of the mould with the brown clay, ensuring a flat back.
step three - Score the back of the character with a modelling tool; this will help with gluing later. Pop out of the mould and using two small black beads create the eyes.
step four - Bake as per manufacturers instructions and allow to cool.
step five - To make the box: Cut two squares from two pieces of A4 card, cut one 2mm smaller than the other around 2mm then mark as the base.
step six - On both pieces of card score 4cm in around all four edges.
step seven - On the lid cut to create flaps. On the base score from the outside corner to the point where the score lines cross over.
step eight - To decorate the box: Cut a piece of black card to fit the lid and randomly stamp a paw print using a Versa Mark ink pad.
step nine - Mount this centrally onto the lid of the card. Now attach the kennel shape centrally to the black card, the dog inside the door of the kennel and two bones in the bottom right hand corner.
step ten - Make up the lid of the box, sticking the tabs in place. Fold the corners of the base in and slip the lid over to complete.
