This card has a clever no cut base and is ideal for presenting those gifts in style.
Instructions
Step one - Soak the brush with water and dampen the paper. Now ink wash the paper and allow to dry. Once dry stamp the image onto the paper embossing with the black embossing powder.
Step two - Cut the piece of burgundy A3 card in half score so sides of box will be 5cm (2") tall. Now cut the ribbled card to fit. Trim 2mm (1/8") from two sides of one of the pieces of card and mark this as the base.
Step three - Take the lid section and cut down to create the tabs then attach the ribbled card centrally.
Step four - Tear down the gold card and the stamped image so the stamped image is smaller than the gold card and layer onto the lid.
Step five - Place the thin sticky tape to the back of the braid then attach the braid around the edge of the lid.
Step six - Take the base. In each corner score from the outside corner into where the scored lines cross over.
Stp seven - Now fold the edges in and the corners will fold in naturally along the last score lines made. Now insert the base into the lid.
