Craft Ark Project - Jewellery - Crochet Yourself A Choker
If you can crochet then you’ll love this new twist on this age old art!

Project Shopping List

  • Reel 34 gauge beading wire
  • Stone chippings (75 required minimum)
  • Crochet hook size 6
  • Wire cutters
  • Epoxy resin
  • Necklace ends
  • Clasp and loop
  • Pliers
  • Cocktail stick
  • Paper plate or scrap of paper

  • Instructions
    Step One - Thread the stone chippings onto the wire and push them back out of the way.
    Step Two - Make a slip stitch then make a chain stitch 53 stitches long.
    Step Three - Create 3 treble stitches.
    Step Four - Push one of the stone chippings along the wire then create a treble stitch.
    Step Five - Work along the chain stitch creating treble stitching and every other one slip a stone chipping along and integrate into the stitch.
    Step Six - When you have stitched your first row, turn and create another row in the same manner.
    Step Seven - Fasten off as you would for crochet.
    Step Eight - Squeeze the ends together and using epoxy resin set into the necklace ends.
    Step Nine - Allow the resin to set overnight then attached the fastener to finish.
